Rapid Assessment of the Impacts of COVID-19

The DOH (lead), in collaboration with the HRB and the NVDAS, is planning to conduct a rapid assessment of the impacts of Covid-19 for people who use drugs and service providers in order to ensure the appropriate policy response to the risks and concerns that have arisen. It is proposed that the results of this assessment be discussed at interim and final phases at national oversight meetings of the National Drugs Strategy. Furthermore, specific actions can be identified for consideration as part of the mid-term review of the actions in the national drugs strategy. The rapid assessment will include an online survey for services and case studies.
